NPDES Permitting
- Prior to conducting construction activities and/or the initial operation of small noncoal, or nonmetallic mining sites, and associated land disturbance activities, current federal regulations require operators/owners to apply for and obtain NPDES permit for stormwater discharge. Parker – Burns will prepare and file with the associated regulatory agency all NPDES permit requirements necessary for you to conduct needed operations.
- The same rules require NPDES registration coverage be retained until all disturbed areas have been reclaimed and/or effective stormwater quality remediation has been achieved. Parker – Burns employs a complete field operations staff that will monitor and advise when Permit requirements are met.
